The Quality Is in the Details

Canadian Wolf jackets are made up of multiple layers specifically designed for the harshest of winters. We use a different mix of materials in order to provide be best of insulations.

  • Polycotton blend that is waterproof, windproof and at the same time breathable to allow moisture escape the jacket.
  • Interlining that keeps the down insulation in place and provides an extra layer of insulation.
  • The highest quality white duck down. All Canadian Wolf winter coats are composed of at least 90% down and 10% feather.
  • Heavy duty Canadian made zippers that withstand harsh weather conditions.
  • Rib knit cuffs that seal the heat and prevent it from escaping through the sleeve.
  • Microfleece lined pockets to keep your hands warm.
  • Interior high end lining providing extra comfort and warmth.

Our Down

Canadian Wolf winter jackets are filled with one of the best insulators: white duck down. All our Canadian Wolf winter coats have at least a fill power of 700, which ensures the insulation of our products against the most extreme weather conditions. The down used inside our garments is of the best quality and is obtained naturally. Waterfowl down is considerably warmer and lighter than synthetic insulators, which makes it the warmest and most comfortable material for winter outerwear.

Our Fur

The fur used in Canadian Wolf products is 100% natural, high grade, non recycled Canadian fur from controlled breeding farms where the animals are treated humanely. The fur is not taken from protected species and we ensure that our suppliers abide by the highest standards. Due to the fact that we use natural fur, each product may be unique in its fur colour or appearance. All Canadian Wolf winter coats are lined with the choice of coyote, raccoon or fox. The inside of the hood and some collars are paved with rabbit fur.

Inspired by traditional Inuit parkas, who spent hundreds of years braving fierce northern winters, our fur is not only there for aesthetics.  It’s primary purpose is to protect the wearer’s head and face from winter’s fiercest ally: the wind. The puffy nature of the fur creates a wall that blocks wind and snow from blowing straight into the hood and onto your face. Natural fur distinguishes itself from synthetic fur because it does not absorb moisture, and the puffiness of the natural fur does a better job at extenuating the wind.
